How to prepare a signature image for an application
A simple workflow for resizing and reducing a signature file when an application gives specific size or format limits.
Start from the official specification
Check the application notice for the required dimensions, file format and minimum or maximum file size. A generic signature size should not be treated as an official rule for every application.
Resize first when dimensions are wrong
If the signature has the wrong dimensions, use the signature resizer first. Then use a size tool if the resulting file is outside the allowed KB range.
Do not confuse file preparation with compliance
A PoofPix result can match the values you entered, but it cannot confirm every part of an application. Check the official source and make sure the signature itself is acceptable and legible.
Privacy note: Where the tool says processing happens in your browser, the selected file is processed locally and is not uploaded by that tool.
